I have did a through scan but again the report was unable to scan C drive something resgistry fix?? I reported this ina earlier post what is the point in having AVAST if it is not protecting all of your drives ???
Maybe you have your c: drive in a exclusion-list? Was the “resgistry fix” something in the log? Can you post that from the log? Maybe a screenshot.
Are avast installed on your c: drive?
avast scans my drives c,d,e,f,g,h wihout problems.
And you could continue in your earlier thread insted of opening a new one.
i would have continued in my old post but have aproblem finding my posts , so how do i check to see if i have excluded my c drive>? I have checked my settings nad have no exclusions so it should scan all areas.
If avast was unable to scan a file or files it gives the reason in the report at the end of the on-demand scan, list of files that couldn’t be scanned. What reason was given for being unable to scan C:\ ?
If you click the profile button (on every page) you should see ‘Show the last posts of this person.’ click that and you should be able to find al your posts.
Check Program Settings, Exclusions, this will show what is excluded, have you recently added something here using wild cards (this could be the problem) ?
Can you post the exactly error message?
The report file created (if you turned it on in program settings) will be (default location) at \Data\Report\Simple User Interface.txt
What is the error? Anything on avast log files?
