Difference between No of PC and QTY when renewing the lisence

Hi there

Lodged a ticket with Avast days ago and no one replying to my question and now my subscription has expired. Just would like to know on the cart, when ordering, I can choose 1 or 3 pc or the QTY… both work out different prices. I like to install on my laptop as well.

Hi,

When ordering a package for 3 PCs, you get a single licence valid for up to 3 PCs.

If you choose QTY, you are buying 3 licences for 1 PC, which might be more expensive, as the previous is a promotional price for a package.

so basically if I have my 2 laptop and my desktop on at the same time, I can use one license ?

still confuse of the diference between those two though

Yes it you have a 3 licence option then that relates to 3 separate PC’s you will only get once licence file though. So just transfer that between computers :slight_smile:

If your license is valid for 3 PCs, yes, you’ll get 1 license to install in up to 3 PCs.

The difference is as simple as buying 1 License valid for 3 PCs VS buying 3 Licenses valid for 1 PC.
