If SecureLine is connected, then I try to open either the Firefox or Edge browsers, they partially open then get stuck and will not fully open. If I turn off SecureLine, then the browsers open fully immediately, I then turn SecureLine back on, and can continue. Will using this way of activating, ie: after the browser is opened give me the same level of security and is there a way to open the browsers with SecureLine connected
On the laptop Win10, both Edge and Firefox will open, but both programs stick on New Tab, the address bar, which should connect to Google is blank and it is not possible to proceed further
On the Desktop Win 7, Internet Explorer, there is no issue the program opens correctly
Go to Control Panel, Internet Properties, Connections Tab and Lan Settings. There, disable the option “Automatically detect settings”.
It should solve your problem.
Did that and have mixed results
With Firefox it made no difference, still sticks on “New Tab” and proceeds no further
With Edge, the address bar now shows that it is trying to connect to Google, then after a few minutes, a message appears, “Hmmmm…can’t reach this page” with an error message "Error Code: Inet_ Connection_Timeout, but there is also a “Refresh the Page” link.
When clicked on, the Edge browser and Google open and is fully functional
