essentially Ive been billed on two occassions so far and havent been able to solve this issue lasst year I originally wanted just a standard avast anti virus subscription but somehow ended up with a cleanup subscription and a 60$ bill this year it notified me for renewall with no way to cancel it and again billed another 60$ as you can imagine this is beyond annoying because thats about 4 years worth of the regular service payed for without actually having it at all, instead of I got this glorified replacement for cc cleaner.

For sales and related matters, licenses renew, please, open a ticket: https://support.avast.com/support/tickets/new. Please, understand that the forum users can’t address these issues. The ticket system works by entrance order. Please, do not open a second ticket, as it will put your issue to the end of the list (FIFO).
I opened a ticket 4 days ago as I have an automatic renewal (planned in the next 3days) which I can’t cancel in the system. The 2 options proposed to cancel failed(why?). I didn’t received any email from the support but my message appears as “being closed” however I always have the “automatic” renewal in my licence manager?
In order to cancel the automatic status I shoud receive an email so I start to be frustrated! The billing is managed through digitalriver and I have the impression that they block my desire to cancel.
I use Avast for many years and was always very happy but I have currently a strange feeling.
It’s also impossible to delete my credit card profile
Ticket number: 05115205
Thanks in advance for your help
That is not a ticket number from avast (as far as I can tell)
It’s the automatic mail I have just received after posting my problem on Avast.com
With this signature:
Avast Software s.r.o., Enterprise Office Center, Pikrtova 1737/1A, 140 00 Prague 4, Czech Republic
Is it suspicious?
Address is correct, just the number seems not correct to me.
But avast is transferring things to a new ticket system so it can be a number from the new system.
If you created the ticket through https://support.avast.com/support/home it should be alright.
If you did, just have patience and wait till avast handles the ticket.
It is valid and from what I believe is the new ticketing system.
I have already seen some ID numbers beginning 05.
