my friend’s notebook is running Vista and he has a CD the needs Director Player to run. When he runs it shows the attached error so the solution is to change the access rights of the user to write on the HDD.
This option is inactive at C:\windows\properties\security\users. He’s Admin ???
how can he fix this?
try to start the program or installation or whatever as administrator (if UAC is enabled this is needed)

Man… the only thing I won’t even touch or mess are the C:\Windows folder access rights…
If he is using Vista, he must be logged as an administrator and allow UAC for that operation.
