Disable another antivirus and use AVAST?

Hi! I’ve got Trend Micro Internet Security installed and it has expired.

I want to use avast, but I don’t want to uninstall Trend Micro Internet Security, because I intend to use it when my company buys a new license.

What should I do to disable Trend Micro Internet Security, so the antiviruses won’t fight?

You cannot use 2 antivirus (AV’s) on the same machine or they will cause conflicts and false positives, not to mention other problems. Your only choice is to uninstall temporarily or use a different machine.

Is the system your own or the company you work for ???

If it is your own then you can choose the anti virus application you use but if the system is not your own then you must abide by the rules of the owner of the system.
