There is something I find really disapointing about that software. Avast is cool, cause Avast is free. But it’s so much invasive. Lots of applications I instal via the internet needs avast to be off (for instance: Autodesk Inventor 2013). First, you lose a lot of time, founding that Avast is BLOCKING your installation without even a warning.
Then when you finaly discover it after taking like 30 minutes on different forum. The easy way is to cut every Avast Agent. But then You lose The INTERNET which is your source to the application you need.
After an other 30 minutes on forum (1st reboot, so avast is up again) you see that if you just cut the agents with a limit of time… Avast decide by itself to cut you from the internet… you must stop agent with no time limit, reboot, make your thing then reactivate (2nd reboot).
So much time loosed on that… Avast should run and stop their agent instantly without affect our possibility on the computer. The software is deciding what you can do or not… that is realy frustating
