Disable Free Virus Updates - install only via USB

Hello,

I’m install the free version of Avast, and need to disable any update service that there is via network.

Then only update the software via USB.

Does anyone know of a document which details on how to do these two items.

What updates are you talking about ?
Why do you not want to have automatic updates ?
