Disable unnecessary services

I find the network meter service not necessary on android 4.0, because it is already build in the OS. It consumes extra resources and also seems to crash sometimes if not using the icon.

Is there any way to disable this service? Avast is currently running 5 services (by far the most on my phone…), which I don’t really like.

Same for AppLock service. Why is it running if I don’t lock anthing?

you can disable the Network Meter service in Settings inside Network Meter in AMS.

Now that is much better!

Other services can also be disabled under Shield control.
