Disabled submit button in Scan result window

Hi

In the “Scan result” window, the “Anvend” (May be “Submit” in English?) button in the bottom of the window is disabled.
I.e. I can not execute any action for the two files in the list.
Why? and what can I do to enable the button?

Thanks in advance

Too large to submit most likely.

Hi mck75,

I think you are referring to the “Apply” button? (in the image)

The actual use of that button would depend on what was detected. If for example it is a memory detection it will not be possible to change.

What is the contents of the scan results page?
(What is detected?)

Scott

In the Scan results window there are only 2 buttons, “Apply” in the bottom center (as shown in the above pic) and the “close” button bottom right. For the “apply” button to be enabled you have to select an action to be performed for the infected file - if there are any, you can select either “move to chest” , “delete” , “repair” or “do nothing”.

Depending on the files listed the options that can be done can vary. It would be very helpful if you can provide a screen-shot of the results window.

Cheers!

Hi

Thank for very fast response.
The two files are from a game, and the message for both files are (my translation from Danish): “Error: The file is a decompression bomb. (42110)”
The options I have is “Repair, Move to chest, Delete, Do nothing”.
For all of the above options the “Apply” button is inactive.
Actually I would just like to have the option to “do nothing”, so that Avast would ignore the files henceforth.
Any ideas?

This is not an infection, really nothing to do here, nor there is any point in submitting it to Avast.
