Disabling animated icon?

Hello,

Is it possible to disable the animation of the Avast On-Access Protection Control icon?

I find it actually pretty annoying and would prefer a still icon.

Thanks a lot! That was just what I was looking for.

I was trying to find the answer on the forum before I posted the question myself but obviously I didn’t use the right search terms cause I couldn’t find it.

Apart from the spinning of the icon, which bothered me a bit but as I now know can be switched off, Avast is a great program. Keep up the good work!

You can hide the system tray icon (value ShowTaskbarIcon).

Thanks for pointing me to that post describing the avast4.ini parameters. It has also been very helpful.
