i am trying to fix my uncle’s computer infected with popular “police virus” - https://google.com/search?q=policejni+virus … this version forces computer to shut down when trying to run in safe mode (even safe mode with console) and going back to previous restore point is also not an option (i have no idea how is it possible but there are none) … there is always about a minute before the lock screen appears, i managed to set avast to run right after boot, but it didnt recognized to virus … i thought maybe the virus definition is outdated so i created a rescue usb on my computer - same result. avast pretends everything is ok. that is quite disappointing :-\
start > run > shutdown -a right after booting should stop the shutdown.
