Disgusted with Avast

I run a small computer repair business and for many years I have recommended Avast BUT NEVER AGAIN , I had a pensioner customer who wished not to renew her subscription , there appears to be no way of doing this in her account , I went through every section but there was no where to cancel , so I raised a ticket guess what NO reply despite it claiming to contact back in 24 hrs , that was 2 weeks ago , we have now arranged for the bank to put a stop on Avast .

It appears once avast have their claws into you they wont let go, so anyone using Avast free DONT sign up for the pay version , better still do what I am now recommending to my customers drop Avast and go elsewhere

When getting a paid license there is the option for auto-renewal.
You can simply choose that you not want it.
As long as the auto-renewal haven’t take place, you can simple disable it.
For someone running a computer repair business, you did a lousy job for that customer.
