Is there any reason why puran is unsigned?
You would have to ask that on the Puran site.
its just im a bit weary of installing software that is unsigned. 8)
The fact that it may be signed or not doesn’t dictate how effective a piece of software is.
I decided to install puran and it seems a very good program.
is the PIOZR optimiser very effective as i havent used it.
I guess it would rather depend on the state of your hard disk prior to optimisation. Whilst I have it checked, I have been using Puran for some considerable time, so I doubt I would see a change even if I unchecked it.
Well… A negative report I need to do: PIOZR increased my boot time. I’d rather trust in Microsoft adjusts of the files needed to boot.
I use Puran, just not the PIOZR.
the puran boot time defrag apparently deletes your restore points also.
Have you confirmed that by testing as this isn’t something that I have heard and I can’t test as System Restore has been disabled on my system for many years.
