DNS-Proxy for Real Site makes Safari hang

Since a couple of weeks I had a problem with Safari.

Randomly safari hangs and I have to close and reopen it. This occurs several times per day. I only used bookmarks and favorites, some of these addresses within my internal LAN and some external addresses.

This does not occur with Google Chrome.

Yesterday I found out, that the DNS-proxy for real site seems to be the problem.

After de-activating the real site module this problem does no longer occur.

Any ideas?

EDIT: The DNS-proxy also caused other problems within my network: My son uses a VOIP software on a Windows PC, which did also not work during exactly the same period of time. It works again since deactivation of the real site module and its DNS-proxy.

Best Regards

Thomas

Is somebody from Avast going to react on this post?

So no reaction from Avast for almost a month.

I think I will have to cancel by avast subscription and look for another virus scanner.
