Do I disable Windows7 Firewall if I have Avast5 Internet security's Firewall on?

Yeah so I just got Avast 5 Internet security a couple days ago and have been searching everywhere but cant find anything about this issue… so please help

Also if the two could run simultaneously is it safe to disable window’s firewall and just leave avast’s firewall running, or is avast’s firewall to young for that and needs time to mature?

I really wish Avast would clear this up on their website, to do otherwise is just foolish.

you should use only 1 firewall… so if you use Avast firewall then you should turn off Windows firewall

the search function is your friend giggles

You can have more than one, but only ever use one at a time.

For instance, if you use Windows firewall, disable Avast firewall, and vice versa.

Same as Anti-virus/mal-ware checkers. Have one installed, and use on-demand checks if you want some extra peace of mind.

I have Avast 5 installed, MBAM (on-demand not resident), Spybot S&D (on-demand not resident), and Windows Firewall, with the Hardware Firewall in my router.

With a little bit of care choosing the websites i go to, I have very few problems.
