I am a bit puzzled, since when I click on my Avast - Menu - Own licences → it says Avast Internet Security is active and the date of renewal is 31 October.
At the same time if I check my Avast account (my.avast.com) it says You don’t have any Avast licenses yet.
My question is: Are they going to try and take my money at the end of October or not?
PS: A month ago I decided to try out trial version, Avast asked for my card number etc., but I didn’t intend to pay for anything. Now I don’t see any option to cancel anything, what’s more I don’t even know if I have some kind of licence or not (like written previously it’s highly ambiguous).
Hi
Yes the auto renewal will kick in. You will be debited $$ for the product you are trying.
An email was sent to you after you applied and entered payment info.
In that email is ALL the instructions to cancel auto renewal.
I’ve signed up for many Avast Trial products over the years and have found cancelling auto renewal straight forward.
INSTRUCTIONS will be at the bottom of email in small print.
And yes if the Licence shows Active in you Avast Program then it is.
Yeah, exactly that’s my problem. I found this answer on different web pages, tho’ unfortunately I didn’t get any kind of e-mail about it, so I couldn’t check. What can I do now?
They always send an email to the address you gave. Check your spam/junk folders
If you miss-typed your email then you wouldn’t have received one.
After further investigation, if email not found, contact Avast (only submit ONE ticket per issue)
