Do I need additional Avast VPN protection on my cell phone?

Hey guys,

I know it’s a personal question, but I still need your help!

Everyday I connect to the internet on my laptop by using my cell phone’s hotspot.

I found my IP is exposed whenever I make a connection through the cell phone, but not on laptop.

Currently, I’m using Avast VPN service on my laptop, not the cell phone.

Do I need a VPN protection on my cell phone? What’s your suggestions?
