are you sure this is a real threat? Cause in the description it says:

“Amaze your friends with this fun app. Fool your friends with this realistic prank app! Watch the reaction on their face.This is just a prank app. It does not actually crack the keys of any Wireless network as that would require Root access.”

Side point: I never found a tool that crack wifi passwords, root or not… Does it exist?

I never needed one so I don’t really know, but I guess at least bruteforcing ones could very well exist.

Yeah, for Linux there are distros that are specialized on that. What I never saw is a real app for Android that does it seriously and not for joking.
