Dodgy Add ons?

Hi,

Avast has informed me that my Realnetworks Download and Record Plugin and one from Videolan VLC player have been flagged as having a bad reputation from the Avast user community. Does anyone have any ideas why these have a bad reputation and why now? They were OK until now. Should I disable them?
