Does anyone have a link to a legitimate copy of AIS 8.0.1483?

Like others, I have been plagued with the SSL/Scan/Certificate problem. So bad avast! has been uninstalled from 3 of my computers.

I saw a link to the free version which gave me the idea of trying that version since my problem began about the end of April.

Google just leads me to downloads to licenses and other add on stuff.

Anyone have a link that works?

Thanks

OK, thanks everyone.

I give up.

I have licenses for six computers so I guess my avast! life is over. >:(

You could try here, it may help: http://www.oldapps.com/avast_antivirus.php

Thanks

Been there several times.

I did download the FREE version and I’ll try it tomorrow. If I don’t have a problem with it, I’ll use it.

Obviously the avast people couldn’t care less.

Thanks

You are welcome

Did you try applying your AIS license to the 8.0.1483 free version you downloaded ?

Hi David

You misunderstand. Rather than go into great details that I and some of my people are having with inability to send emails, I am simply looking for a download of 8.0.1483.

I was sort of hoping that a person from avast!, inc. would come forward. Nothing.

I have licenses for 6 AIS but they are worthless if I can’t use my email program.

Thanks anyway.

I seem to have the correct file you need!! I was looking thru my downloads folder and I have the following file / executable

Here is what the file says when I put my mouse on it ( Avast Internet Security Setup 8.0.1483.72 date created 4-24-2013 2:31 Am ) 135mb

Beautiful!

My troubles started about 4-27-2013

Now, do you have any way to get it to me?

do you have yahoo messenger?

No but check your personal message

Thanks for the help 101010101010101 010101010

Unfortunately, the same problem exists. avast version here is 8.0.1483.

The thing that started this whole mess was a message on my screen saying that the certificate had the same serial number as another certificate that was issued. this meant nothing to me but I have a large collection of screen captures showing all the problems I’ve had since that first message. I have licenses for 6 computers but I can use avast! on only 2 of them.

The only solution is to not use email?

Here’s a couple of captures.
