I bought a netbook with Win 7 starter and I would install avast 6.0 free.
So, I want to know if he works properly on Win7 Starter x86.

It is on my acer aspire one 10.1" 1024x600 netbook and no problems.
Though one of the first thing I did was but a 2GB RAM upgrade as I still think 1GB on win7 starter (or other version) is woefully inadequate as it was using 75% RAM without running anything particularly heavy. Even before the RAM upgrade avast was fine.
It’s Windows 7 just like any other, just with some limitations. But none of them limit basic program functionality.
