Does Avast contact you via phone for computer update from Secure Guard?

Someone has called me saying they need to update my computer. Does someone from secure guard or something like that do that?

No, avast will never contact you by phone.

And the real rare cases they do, they will never call on behave of another company.

It was just a scam call you received.
I would say block that number en tell the police about it.
