Does avast detect keyloggers and screen caption?

I know that avast detect keyloggers as PUP, does avast detect a screen caption as a PUP too?

I would say no on this if this doesn’t pick up from the free version and maybe the paid version might have extra features to protect these things…maybe, however this would be very interesting to get feedback from Avast to answer this question.

Well yes this would be great, let’s see…

You can use a program such as Trusteer Raport. The best defense isn’t to detect a keylogger. Its to prevent one. Using a password manager is one step. A virtual keyboard is another. You can also use Zemana AntiLogger. Most antiviruses detect keyloggers when its already too late. I have been using Lastpass for years. I never type in anything into my browsers as far as logins or passwords. Using a good browser such as Google Chrome is another step. But again nothing is perfect or foolproof.

Programs like Rapport have a history of causing problems for some users. Some people run that software fine with no issues, others blue screen and error out. Its like that with all those programs like rapport too.

LastPass using google authenticator is a really good option.
