Hi i just installed avast free 2015 2 days ago not had any auto updates where the voice used to say avast virus data base is now updated. i havent seen any pop ups or is this feature not in avast no more. i have manually updated it from the avast logo in taskbar no probs there but just needed to clarifey this as well greatful 4 any feedback here thx.

avast has removed the sounds/pop-ups.

You can always right click the avast ball > about and see what vps version you have installed.
It is yyyymmdd - release for that day.
