Does Avast Free need to be uninstalled before Win10 upgrade?

Should my free version of avast be uninstalled before running the upgrade to Windows 10 from Win 7?

Nope, should work without an uninstall.

Just make sure the latest version of Avast is installed and running properly before the upgrade.
