Does Avast resident scan Azureus?

I noticed that just about every P2P program is on the scanner list except Azureus…which is what I use and everytime I download something on it Avast doesn’t seem to scan it…however everytime I use Limewire to download something Avast is all over it. As soon as it gets done its showing up on the P2P scanner…best resident scanner I’ve found…free or not :wink:

Short answer: NO .

I suggest a forum search, this has been disccused before.

Maybe you can set Azureus to scan the file after the download finished.
In this case, use C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe

Unfortunately I haven’t found any settings in that program for AV scanning.
It has to be a manual step after the download.

This should be there… shame on Azureus… quite an easy and useful feature for a P2P application :stuck_out_tongue:
