I bought premium a while ago… I have a new device and I’m checking that everything is working… but my account page says I have no licenses, but I’ve not been sent a message to say my old one was expiring.

Are the email you provided when buying the subscription and the one you use for https://my.avast.com the same ?
Have you actually installed the licence on your new device?
What is your current expiration date ???
The program itself will start giving reminder popups once there are 30 or less days remaining.
