Does Avast simultaneous scan RAR files while I download them ? if so...

I do a lot of downloads. If Avast claim to scan any files while I download, then is it correct to assume that after when all the downloads are completed (ex. 8 rar files before unzipping), I don’t need to scan them again using Avast ?

not 100% sure…but see settings for webshield… but they will be scanned when unzipped or when opening the folder after unzipping
