Does uninstalling Avira 2012 also deletes quarantined items?

I had Avira internet security 2012 in my PC and had around 148 items in the quarantine.I uninstalled the product to install Avast 7 free on my PC.But i forgot to manually delete the quarantined items.I directly uninstalled from add/Remove and after that i used avira registry cleaner. Then i installed and scanned my PC with Avast 7 free,but no virus were detected. My worry is that whether the earlier quarantined items infect my PC??

Whatever was in the quarantine of avira would have been deleted when you uninstalled the program.
