Doest avast! Pro AV Pro have a limit on re-activations?

Before I buy a license, I would like to know, does avast! limit you on how many times you can reinstall it/re-activate? It happened to me once before and I don’t like software that limit me on how I use my computer as I do format a lot.

Does it still have a limit on how many times one can re-activate provided he is doing it on the same machine? Or can the previous installation be de-activated using the Avast! Account online to free up a seat for the next installation or will it block the license eventually requiring me to contact support?

It depends…

There’s a limit (5-8) if you use an activation code, but none for a license file.
