There’s a client who is going to migrate their domain over to a new one.
Is avast capable of working after the migration or is it necessary to reinstall and/or redeploy?
Edit: Support confirmed that it’s only necessary to delete the computers from the console and, after migration, rerun the discovery task, provided that the IP or hostname of the server doesn’t change.
the (fqdn) hostname is changed if you migrate to a new domain… meaning a re-installation without recovering the database from the old domain since settings in the console point to the old domain.
unless you mean migrating to a new domain controller, then there is no problem.
