Dotaz - Avast Free

Dobrý den,

po instalaci avast free se mi začaly do mailů poslaných přes webové rozhraní Outlook.com vkládat označení

Tento email byl odeslán z počítače bez virů, chráněného programem Avast.

Jak tuto funkci vypnout ?

Hello,

after installing avast free (resident+ web shield), in emails sent via web interface Outlook.com is inserted this label

This email was sent from a computer without virus protected by program Avast. and logo of Avast.

How to turn this feature off?

Thank you for the link, however I do not have the mail shield installed at all. It seems to me that it is related to the new function of 2016 browser mailing - as written on h link, but i cannot switch it off because of not having the shield installed and utilized.

The setting for this is currently only in the Mail Shield settings, it is planned to include it in both Mail and Web Shields. In the meantime, either temporarily install the Mail Shield and change the settings - avastUI > Settings > Active Protection > Mail Shield > Customize > Behaviour - uncheck the unwanted options.

Or see this workaround:

Thank you for workaround.

If it is possible to change the web shield interface it would be great, I do not want to use mail shield and want to keep Avast as lightweigth as possible, so installing more and more modules is not an option.

You’re welcome.

A few post up from that workaround was a post from one of the avast team, explaining and expanding on the issue.

We'll change this and most probably replicate the same checkbox inside both shields.

Having the Mail Shield installed isn’t actually going to put a load on the system unless you are actually using it (scanning off-line email pop3/smtp, etc.) as it would be sitting redundant until required.

Personally I generally recommend keeping it installed even if you use web mail, it could be the first indication of an undetected/hidden infection (spambot) on your system.
