Double Click on Google.co.uk

I don’t know if this a virus/malware/etc or not so I thought I’d ask.

I have noticed today that when clicking on links from google.co.uk that I get a double click.

I am using IE and google.com is not having this problem.

Anyone know why this is happening?

What do you mean by gives you a double click (two pages opening) ?

I have no such problem, when I click on www.google.co.uk it opens one page and since I have a google account it goes directly to my igoogle page, see image.

I don’t use IE as my default browser though, but firefox.

What I mean by double click is the click sound that IE makes when you select a link

Most websites you select a link and you’ll get single click sound but Google UK seems to be quite often giving two of these click sounds, suggesting some kind of redirection.

I was wondering if ky machine had some kind of aware of it it was normal for this site.

Having done some tests on several of my machines I have come to then conclusion that it is normal for this site as all the machines are doing it intermittently.

I don’t hear that sound not using IE ;D

I would only be concerned if there was something else other than the normal loading of the page.

I do not hear a sound when going to iGoogle in IE so you may have set a sound in the system Sound settings:
