What is the best site to d/l Avast for Mac? Everytime I try to d/l the program it takes me to CNet Download.com and when I downloaded the file to my Mac, it came up missing the shields listed in this thread. So i deleted the program and reloaded it with the same result and now it shows a virus. Please advise

I just downloaded the link you gave me and after the install I clicked on the button Show Shield Statistics and the drop down window said, "Infected files/Scanned file (Size)

Please try the Beta version, there are many bug fixes, so it may
also fix your problem. If even the beta does not work for you,
then we need at least the relevant entries from the system log.

I tried installing the beta version and keep on getting knocked off and Internal Server errors. Also, Real-Time Shields, Virus Definitions Updates are still disabled and my Safari Extensions are gone Please advise

You need to search for “com.avast.proxy”. Or, what would be the best solution,
you can generate the support package from the GUI and send it to my mail.
