DRep

One of my customers received a bogus DRep thread notice from avast released to my company’s website. The notice message stated, “We’ve safely aborted connection with www.atebionllc.com because it was infected with DRep.”

I had to spend an hour ensuring him that our website was fine.

We have has other false positive issues with avast in the past. But never had any issues with other anti-virus companies.

Please fix this issue.

Your bogus DRep bullshit is costing my company money and is hurting our customer relations. This is a serious issue, that if continues, may have legal issues.

DRep = Domain Reputation

Domain Reputation is NOT an infection … >:(

There is nothing wrong with our website.

The “infected with” is just a general message on the popup

There is a “see detail” in lower right corner … what is behind that?

DRep is triggered when multiple elements on different pages within same domain trigger detections. It’ll flag entire domain to prevent further spreading of potentially undetectable threats proactively blocked. You may want to inspect your entire webpage system for malicious content.
