Is drive encryption a necessity or is it not that important? I found two programs, AxCrypt → www.axantum.com/AxCrypt and TrueCrypt → www.truecrypt.org. Would any of you reccomend either of these if drive encryption is important? Also, correct me if I am wrong, does Vista Ultimate have a drive encryptor?
I strongly recommend TrueCrypt. Works on Linux and Windows.
Very safe. I’ve encrypted all my documents partition on my laptop and desktop.
Vista has it’s own drive encryptor. But TrueCrypt is free and platform independent.
