Hi,
Avast today shows a driver [name=px**.sys ,didn’t remember name] as a root-kit & recommend it to be deleted.
I just delete it then restart my PC.
Then my sony dvd RW ad-7260s is showing as cd-rom & running via some Microsoft cd-rom driver.
I can’t find the exact name of that driver in any log.
I’m on win8.
How To fix this issue
i found the file name.
It’s “PxHlpa64.sys” present in “C:\Windows\System32\Drivers”
