DropMyRights as default browser

Does anybody knows how to configure a DroppedMyRights browser as being the default one in a XP system? I mean, we know how to set a DropMyRights link, but how can we set it to be opened by a 3rd party application, like clicking in an email link and opening the browser:
“C:\Program Files\DropMyRights\DropMyRights.exe” “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe”

For example, in XP if you are running a restricted instance of an email program and click on a link in an email message to open a new copy of the default Web browser, the browser runs in restricted mode. However, if an unrestricted instance of the default browser was already running, it remains in unrestricted mode when displaying the page from the link in an email message or even if you want only the browser at restricted mode but you click a link in an email.

How to set “C:\Program Files\DropMyRights\DropMyRights.exe” “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe” as the default browser?

I don’t think you can, unless there is a way of hacking the registry perhaps (I wouldn’t want to do that), if your browser is launched by anything other than the shortcut which first starts DMR which then starts your browser it will have normal privileges.

That is why I start my browser, firefox (with DMR shortcut) before I connect that should then be used as it is open. There occasions where something wants to open IE (non-default) and I kill that and use DMR/Firefox or DMR/IE shortcut.

Now, I’m on Vista… but I’m curious… must have a way to do so…

If you’re on Vista you are already running in non-admin mode. Wasn’t there talk about including UAC with SP3 ?

Not only talk but it’s a fact. I know I’m using SP3

Bob, do you mean XP SP3 has UAC?
It will make useless DropMyRights… it’s good.
