DrWeb link checker - Thunderbird support added!

Hi malware fighters,

Polonus and various others on this forum use this Firefox add-on for quite some time now to check a hyperlink for malware. Now this nice tiny add-on also has Thunderbird support added. The security aware can download this nice av-hyperlink checker from here:

Thx for the heads-up

I saw DrWeb mentioned here before, but wasn’t sure what it was about. I Googled, but only saw the AV program. Now I’ve got the DrWeb add-on on FF and TB, and it works great!

Thank you! 8)

I think the addition of this extension to thunderbird is probably one of the best security improvements. The amount of emails with links to nice ecards, etc. to infect the unwary with the likes of storm or other malware.

Unfortunately the unwary, those most likely to click on links in unsolicited emails, might not even consider or be aware of this extension.
