Today, and over the last week, I have been getting many RED Light Blinking on my Modem, indicating a system problem. What is going on ?
Is it a modem given to you by your ISP?
It is highly unlikely this has anything to do with avast.
Contact your ISP and/or read the manual for that modem.
look for a reset button on the back of your modem.
may have to hold the button in for a few minutes to
factory reset.
