Duplicate tabs or recently viewed tabs opening when launching Avast

I have my Avast browser to open certain tabs when I launch it. If I open other tabs and then close the browser when I launch it again all of the tabs that were open when I last closed it open plus the ones I have it set to open.

I only want it to open the tabs I have selected. Is there a setting that I’m missing?

You can set different settings here: secure://settings/newSession Maybe it will help you.

does this only happen when you do not shut down your pc in between sessions or also when you open the tab again the next day? Could be a different kind of problem then.
