DVD/CD image ISO slows down during the creation of images on to h.d.d while avast scans the iso files.It appears to be stuck…while the image is 99%-100%.I guess that normal?does any 1 had this temp problem?.Any way avast had found virus while i had imaged the iso to my h.d.d.But it is slow while it scans the iso files or similer to large files above 500MB!

It’s been set to high.do want me to bring it back to normal? ??? coz why i did is that i had got alots of cd’s from my cosin brother.and i had found that it had viruses in some of his cd’s.that’s what i set to high.
The difference between “Normal” and “High” are in what created/modified files are scanned. For “High”, all the modified files are scanned - which means even ISOs.
If, for example, the burning program closes the created file repeatedly during the creation process, the slowdown might be quite significant.
