Is there a way to create a dynamic group based upon whether a client is running the avast server edition or the avast netclient edition? I read through the manual and was unable to determine the variable to test against.

Seems like a remarkable omission! It’s really not possible, AFAIK.
We’ll add this “feature” to the next build.
