Dyndns and Avast home malicious site blocking

I am running a website on a home computer and use Dyndns to redirect users to my dynamic IP by a name. Starting with the new definitions yesterday, this no longer works. Users can access the site using the dynamic IP directly, but using the dyndns name fails with “network shield: blocked access to malicious site”.

Help.

Clients can also get through if the Network Shield is stopped. The problem started when the latest version of the DB was installed.

Try emailing virus (at) avast (dot) com subject ‘Possible false positive - Network Shield’ and give the same information you supplied here and possibly a link to this topic.

A linkscanner on the domain comes up clean

Thank you, e-mail sent. I added a link to a failing page through dyndns and using the dynamic IP address that works and the nshield entry for the failure.

No problem, glad I could help.

Hopefully it will be analysed and quickly resolved.
