[b]When e mail comes in woth outlook express it use to tell me that the e mail was scanned when incomming e mail came in O don’t remember how to set that up for my huuband. What is wrong woth Green?

Personally I feel there is little benefit in these messages, other than in outbound emails to spread the word about avast ;D

For some people Green is hard to read, it doesn’t has as good contrast in all forum themes either. Coloured text is generally fine for highlighting some text, but complete blocks of it, it just merges into a mass of green.

  1. Sorry, I’m not using OE at all. Anyone else has to help you.
  2. The same, as posting everything bold.

[b]]Well that is your opnion no one else has ever said anything about the green or bold ;D what use to come in via e mail was this

avast! Antivirus: Inbound message clean.
Virus Database (VPS): 110617-0, 06/17/2011
Tested on: 6/17/2011 5:58:55 AM
avast! - copyright (c) 1988-2011 AVAST Software.

I don’t remember how I set that up

Thank you that is what I could not find ;o)

Do as you like. :stuck_out_tongue:

You don’t really have to set anything up in Avast. All you have to do is make sure that SSL encryption is turned off in Outlook Express for the accounts that are being accessed. Avast can not scan encrypted mail but it does use it’s own form of SSL after the scanning is done. Just uncheck use SSL on the advanced tab.

Oh I see now you meant putting a message in the mail itself. I didn’t even know it could do that.
