Sending a file to ALWIL Software on the chest can be a virus or a false positive so ALWIL Software will analys your file that you sended and if there a virus or false positive then they will fix it out as soon they will update their virus data base.
No. They will analys if there a virus or a false positive from what u said to them that could be. The file virus that is in chest cant not harm your cpu or files.
If u want more info or a more better clear respond i think you should wait another guy im not really that good in cpu but i know a lot
Mostly not, ALWIL will just check it on it’s Virus Tester Computer for any strange behaviors. If you enter your E-Mail (I don’t know but think) it will return with the details that the computer responded to and if is a false postive or not and maybe if Avast! can remove it.
You most likely will not get a reply from avast unless they need more information from you. If not, they will either update the virus data base or fix the false positive.
Just leave the file in the chest for about 2 weeks. After that time period, right click the file in the chest and select to scan it again. If it is still scans as a virus, you can delete it. If it scans as not a virus, then it was a false positive and you can do as you wish with the file.
