E-mailclient Mozilla 1.4 B

Hello,

I use Mozilla 1.4 B and also the buildin e-mailclient, iAvast 4.0 Anti-Virus Home will not scan mine e-mails. After open an e-mail the scanner prompt me what to do with the win31:sobig worm. This virus is removed but i’m still concerning that mine e-mails are not be scanned while the Outlook Express well will be scanned correctly. Can someone tell me how to configure the scanner that it scans mine Mozilla e-mailclient.

avast! supports all mail programs that use SMTP/POP/IMAP protocols (even multiple accounts). However the configuration is not automatic for Mozilla, you have to do it manually (see Setting up mail protection → Manual setting if mail protection in avast! help).
