Was doing a thourough scan this a.m. because of suspicious performance on my computer’s part. got this trojan and it wont let me remove it. I know this has been an issue in the past but can’t seem to locate the fix or answer. Suggestions? ???
I would add the ?:\pagefile.sys to the Program Settings, Exclusions.
The reason you can’t do anything, not enough space, is because it most certainly exceeds the file size limitation of the Program Settings, Chest, Maximum size of file to be sent. You could adjust that but a) it would be massive and b) I wouldn’t bother and exclude the pagefile.sys from scanning.
thanks, after I do that hopefully it wont be detected anywhere else.
One more thing, how should I go about it with the menu up saying it is detected? Should I move and rename, delete, stop processing?
Stop processing and boot afterwards.
