Edit or export "communication log"

Dear all
I have a problem with communication log module of Avast Anti-theft.
How the results of sms commands or “communication log” can be edited? When I try to hit delete icon the application will go to clear whole the log while I need to delete only disignated items.
I tried to find xml or any type of log or record files containing the log but no success.
Another solution for me is ability to export the log into an external file and then editing…

A log is not supposed to be edited.
There is no need for since it is a log, not a ini (settings) file.

Thanks for your response Eddy.
Of course the log is not a setting file. However, I need to send some parts of “communication log” as a doc, and it’s the reason that I need to export it as independent file.
Could you please tell me if you have any idea for exporting the log to a file??

There is always the option to create a screenshot of the log and export that.
